Microneedling is a minimally invasive collagen induction therapy for skin rejuvenation.
The SkinPen Treatment
Using needles to puncture the skin at various depths, a controlled skin injury is created to stimulate collagen restructuring. The result is tighter, smoother and more even skin. To amplify results, PRP/PRF can be added to your service.

SkinPen works in three simple steps

SkinPen’s microneedles pierce the skin, increasing blood flow. Immune cells work to clean and disinfect the area, setting the stage for repair. This stage helps prepare the skin to rebuild with fresh, healthy cells.

The micro-wounds created by SkinPen multiply new skin cells to replace the damaged ones, while collagen and elastin fibers start to form. This stage builds a fresh foundation of skin tissue, giving it renewed strength and elasticity.

Over time, the new collagen matures, integrating into the skin and refining its structure. This final stage results in smoother, firmer skin, with improved texture and reduced appearance of imperfections.
HOW IT WORKS
Before Treatment
The provider will gently cleanse the skin. Topical anesthesia may be administered to ensure maximum comfort throughout the treatment.
During Treatment
Once the numbing cream has taken effect, the provider will gently pass SkinPen over the treatment area. As the tiny needles create micro-channels in the skin, patients typically feel light pressure and a mild buzzing sensation, with minimal discomfort. The treatment lasts approximately 30 minutes.
After Treatment
Most patients notice slight redness in the treated area, similar to a mild sunburn. Additional common treatment responses include dryness, tightness, and peeling. This is normal and should subside within 24 to 72 hours. Makeup and sunscreen can be applied 24 hours after treatment. Please see patient labeling for detailed safety information.

Our staff will numb you for at least 30 minutes prior to your treatment. You have areas that are more sensitive than others, but overall microneedling should not be painful.

Yes! Redness lasts for 24-48 hours.

It is recommended that you do not wear any form of makeup for 24-48 hours due to infection risk. We do however recommend that you wear protective sunscreen (not in makeup) after 24 hours of your service.

You can expect to see results within 4-6 weeks, but you will begin to feel tightness of your skin within the first few weeks.

Yes, we often combine microneedling with Botox same day appointment. We also CO2 CoolPeel over microneedling for addition benefit, same day procedure.
